Something closer than small is an on-going body of work that started in 1998. For each exhibition new works have been added.
The exhibition is like walking inside the head of the artist. To see and to follow how thoughts and ideas develop through visual associations, imaginations, projections, transformations, juxtapositions a.s.o. The materials are; paper, photo, pencil drawing, cardboard, wood and everyday objects mixed together and laid out on tabletops.

To celebrate the anniversary of the legendary “Fluxus Festspielen Neuester Musik” which George Maciunas organized 40 years ago in Wiesbaden, a major exhibition under the title 40 Jahre: Fluxus und die Folgen was organized and curated by René Block and Regina Bärtel.
