APARTMENT ONE IS AN OLD APARTMENT IN THE CENTRE OF COPENHAGEN. IN 1996 IT HOUSED A SERIES OF EXHIBITIONS. THE BOOK DOCUMENTS THE EXHIBITIONS.
The aim of the exhibitions was to encourage dialogue between artists. Initially Apartment One invited one artist who then chose a collaboration partner. Apartment One showed four exhibitions in 1996.
